What did you feel when you heard the recent news — that India has surpassed Japan to become the world's 4th largest economy, with a GDP of $4.19 trillion? Were you surprised? Excited? Proud? Or maybe even curious? Yes, seeing our country climb the global economic ladder certainly fills us with pride. It feels like a moment of celebration. But pause for a second — does a bigger GDP really mean our country is truly developed?Is it fair to equate national pride and progress solely with GDP rankings? THE FOMO TRAP 🪤

 I want to begin by asking you all a question. Imagine that you didn't have time to get ready and your hair is oily, your dress is not up to the Mark; you look very tired in all the pictures. Now ask yourself will you post these pictures on social media? Think of it, we will get back to it in the end          Now let's take a detour. Have you ever felt FOMO when you look at posts of someone partying/going for a trip? Or have you ever felt like buying something that is trending on social media like first-day first-show tickets of a hyped movie/ Cold Play concert? Or have you ever bought an overpriced coffee to share it on social media?  If yes, you are not alone. FINDING SOLUTIONS BEYOND BLAME

  How many of you believe that people should change for democracy to work? Don't you think the root cause for all the problems is people's prejudices like caste, religion, etc in selecting the leaders? If yes, I want to ask you all a few questions.   First, Did the people of India ask for democracy? The answer is NO. It is the minority elites of our country who opted for democracy for the majority of People Second, don't you think people supported the government even when it was tough for them in these 77 years of independence? The answer is YES. One such example is the demonetization of currency.  They were ready to accept all mistakes in its implementation and supported the government. Last question, How's it possible for us to stay together in such a diverse culture? The answer again is the law-abiding nature of people. So what more do we want? If people should change then why did we form these institutions and why should people pay taxes to the government?   ...
